Q-Switched Dual Wavelength Nd:YAG + KTP Laser Two Lasers in one Case
The Nd:YAG Laser is the only Laser approved by the FDA for use on all skin colors and skin types, due to the fact that it does not cause Hyper - Hypopigmentation. The Nd:YAG Laser is also considered the Work Horse of the Lasers in the Medical Industry due to its versatility.
Q-Switched Lasers are designed for Color/Pigment Removal such as Tattoos, Permanent Makeup and other Skin Pigmentation.

Colors
Lasers are a Light Source, which sees and reads colors, and it will Remove what it can see, but not what it cannot see. Not every Laser reads every color, e.g. Nd:YAG can see and read the colors Black and Blue, but cannot see the colors Brown, Red, etc. and it will therefore remove only Black and Blue very efficiently. The KTP Laser has a different Wavelength and a Green Light Source, and does not see the colors Black and Blue, but it can see the colors Red, Brown, etc. and therefore will remove those colors.
